About Us

NAA New York Metro is a chapter and subordinate of the National Autism Association.  Our chapter is all-volunteer and is led by parents, grandparents, caregivers, and professionals working with children affected by autism spectrum disorders, and their families.  We proudly serve the five boroughs of New York City, Long Island, Westchester County, and Rockland County.  Our chapter was formed in 2008 and we are a not-for-profit corporation.  Donations to NAA NYM are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

Purpose

Our chapter was founded to serve families, caregivers, and professionals affected by autism spectrum disorder; to educate and empower individuals affected by autism spectrum disorder; and help them reach their full potential.

Mission

Our mission is to educate and empower those in the autism community in the New York Metro area. We will never give up in the search to help affected individuals reach their full potential and to provide support to individuals affected by autism spectrum disorder, their families and caregivers and the professionals who work with them.
