The NAA NY Metro Chapter is once again awarding Helping Hand Grants to provide families with financial assistance in getting necessary biomedical treatments, supplements and therapy services for their autistic child. Do not apply for this grant if you are seeking funds for respite care, fencing, play equipment, vacations, etc. Grant proceeds are paid directly to the child’s medical professional or therapist. PLEASE NOTE: Applications must be postmarked by February 15, 2015, applications postmarked after February 15, 2015 CANNOT be accepted. We anticipate completing the review process and notifying recipients on or about March 16, 2015. Note that only those who are awarded grants will receive notification.
