Please join the NAA NY Metro for a very informative presentation by Geri Brewster, RDN, MPH, CDN about the biochemical crosstalk between the developing neurological and immunological systems. Both systems are rooted in the gastro-intestinal tract, known as both the second brain as well as being home to 70% of the entire immune system.

Every exposure after birth, much of which is delivered via the GI tract, will influence immune tolerance-intolerance and neurological growth: neurons, synapses and early wiring. This lecture will explore this subject and how diet and nutrition can ideally advance health and well-being.
